Terms of Use

LINEAR is an editorial architecture, design, and travel discovery platform built around a curated archive. You can use the LINEAR MCP to retrieve curated information and recommendations through compatible AI clients such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP clients.

LINEAR's recommendations reflect editorial judgement and curation. They are not objective guarantees that a place will suit every person or every trip.

LINEAR makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and current information, but details change. Hotel rates, availability, opening hours, amenities, perks, attributed designers and architects, travel restrictions, restaurant details, booking conditions, and property information may all be out of date. Please verify time-sensitive details before relying on them.

• LINEAR recommendations are curated and editorial.
• They are not professional, legal, financial, medical, or safety advice.
• A recommendation does not guarantee availability or suitability.
• You remain responsible for your own travel and booking decisions.

Searching LINEAR, receiving a recommendation, and receiving a Concierge or booking link are distinct from submitting a Concierge request and from completing a booking.

• Invoking an MCP tool is not a booking.
• Returning a link is not a booking.
• No hotel is reserved unless a booking is separately completed and confirmed.
• Rates and perks are subject to availability.

Where a hotel, booking platform, travel provider, or other third party fulfils a transaction, that party's terms also govern the service they provide.

LINEAR may receive commissions, referral fees, affiliate compensation, sponsorship revenue, or other commercial compensation in connection with some partners or bookings. LINEAR retains editorial discretion over its archive and recommendations. Not every recommendation is paid or sponsored, and where paid or sponsored placements exist they are identified as such in the product.

The LINEAR name and branding, editorial writing, original photography, curation, database presentation, site design, original research, original descriptions, and other proprietary content are owned by LINEAR or its licensors. LINEAR does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks, third-party photography, hotel names, architect and designer names, or other third-party material.

You may access and use LINEAR through approved MCP clients for your own personal or business use, including ordinary model-generated summaries of results returned to you.

You agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorised access or bypass access controls
• Circumvent rate limits or interfere with the service
• Conduct security testing without authorisation
• Scrape or automatically extract content in a way intended to reproduce substantially all of the LINEAR archive
• Use the service unlawfully

Normal access through approved MCP clients — including tool calls made by ChatGPT, Claude, and other compatible hosts on your behalf — is expressly permitted.

The MCP and this site may link to hotels, restaurants, booking services, and LINEAR Concierge, and may include information sourced from or relating to third parties. LINEAR is not responsible for third-party sites or services outside its control, and third-party terms and privacy policies may apply when you leave LINEAR or proceed with a booking.

LINEAR may modify the MCP, change or remove tools, change archive coverage, and introduce or remove functionality. The service may occasionally be unavailable. LINEAR does not promise uninterrupted operation.

LINEAR may limit or suspend access in cases of abuse, security threats, excessive automated extraction, attempts to bypass rate limits, or unlawful use.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. LINEAR cannot guarantee perfect accuracy, continuous availability, error-free operation, or that every recommendation will suit you.

To the extent permitted by law, LINEAR is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the MCP, the archive, recommendations, links, third-party services, or Concierge referrals.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

LINEAR may modify these terms. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and continued use of the service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
